no i do not think so although he had very sharp claws , the bear could use his claws more freely , remember dinosaurs had short arms, plus the bear is heavier. so i would back the artcotheruim on this one

No, the Utahraptor has the size advantage. Judging by the new skeletals, the bear averages 590 kg while the dinosaur is 600-700 kg And about those claws.... The difference in claw size, as well as robustness, is crystal clear. Along with that, Utahraptor would possess a dimensional size advantage, giving it even more ease about using its weapons

^Nope, nowadays the most widely accepted average is 590 kg. That size is based off of miscalculations, I think

No, it does not. blaze's most recent estimates are nowhere near 2 tons, nor are most others

A clear mismatch imo, dinosaur is just too big and too well armed. Utahraptor tends to be very underrated.

If I were you, I'd focus on more recent estimates. sam1, I agree word for word. Utahraptor has this in the bag

Nope. You can think whatever you'd like to, but the most recent studies done suggest an average of 590 kilos, and I think I'll choose to trust those until otherwise stated.

Sure, they've been done by blaze (rather reliable, may I add). www.deviantart.com/blazze92/art/Arctotherium-angustidens-440223159I unfortunately do not know the direct link, I'll post when I can find it. Oh, and by the way, the 1-2 ton estimates are based on erroneous calculations because of osteological pathologies in the bear's humerus, making it seem bigger than it really was. That's on the main link as well, I think.

^That is based upon the erroneous calculations. Once I find blaze's main link (or if someone posts it), you'll find out
