I though there's a thread with a poll on carnivora on that ( carnivoraforum.com/topic/9768509/1/ ), so why not creating one here? My list is of course extremely incomplete, I for example forgot everything that involves a flat and young Earth, but I think what you have should be enough. Little note: Points like "Global Warming/Evolution/Relativity is a lie" means that they aren't scientific models, but created for political reasons.

The moon landing, evolution, and the theory that reptiles rule the world are amusing...

Reptile rule, fake moon landing and UFOs
They are all ridiculous of course, but some are too sad to be overly funny (evolution, relativity), and others are too irreverent (everything that has to do with genocide).

Some statistics on conspiracy theory support, see for yourself: www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2011/PPP_Release_National_ConspiracyTheories_040213.pdf21% believe in UFO conspiracy theories; 13% (22% among Romney's voters) believe that Obama is the antichrist; 4% believe that the world is run by reptiles (the fact that there are even people who believe in this is so sad); NWO conspiracy theories are supported by 28% of the voters; 15% believe the government uses brain control (why didn't I add that?). Statistics on 9/11 truthers: The Israel theory is… interesting. BTW, according to my first source, 28% of the American voters think Hussein is to blame… Where birthers live:

Apparently, the globe Earth was fabricated solely to prove evolution (I never understood why the NWO is allegedly so obsessed making everyone a naturalistic atheist anyway, it's not as if theists were less credulous or harder to control): From this video: BTW, these "I used to be like you" arguments (in this case "There was a time when I believed in a globe Earth just like you now, until I did my research") are truly tedious. Some people truly use them as smoking guns which settle everything once and for all.

well, i keep my stance that i expressed a few years ago on carnviora, the most insane conspiracy theories are that conspiracy theories are backed with reliable evdiences.

The most stupid conspiracy theory I have ever heard (from my friend who isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer and is quite a few peas short of a casserole) is that dinosaurs did not exist.

Yeah, we dissected that one in "False scientific claim rebuttal thread".

I recently found a link on debate.org where two guys are arguing whether or not humans saw living dinosaurs. I was hoping to debunk it once I find more time. What's scary is that the instigator (i.e. the one arguing for humans having seen living dinosaurs) supposedly won that debate. Admittedly the winner is decided by votes, and in this case it was only after six votes, but still. The fact that it appears as if the instigator won it at all is highly disconcerting, whether it says something about the contender's knowledge/arguments (haven't read the full debate) or will lead to gullible readers siding with the instigator or both. I'll save this link here for later: a good chunk of the instigator's initial arguments amounts to Stegosaurus carving-level claims (read: old artwork supposedly depicting fossil animals).

^I'd go so far as to say that that's an example of stupidity at it worst. Seriously, who actually thinks dinosaurs are still alive that isn't cuckoo-crazy?

Except that they are. Humans did encounter some rather impressive examples when they first colonized Madagascar, New Zealand, Australia, and possibly South America…
Of course humans also encountered giant lizards ("dragons") and crocodiles during their early days, it’s just that those were actually entirely different things instead of the weird lizard-dinosaur hybrids that creationists and old-fashioned people still imagine dinosaurs as.

^Well to my knowledge, that's rather disputed. Besides, my point was moreso 'poking fun' (not really) at people who still think T rexes can be seen in the jungle today
