Very similar to regular Mapusaurus, except for a few things: -They like AVA a LOT -They can fluctuate between 7-8.5 tons -Because they agree with me that it's very overdone, they don't fight sauropods. Ever. -Instead, some large animals they do fight, whether alone or in a group, are Paraceratherium, Elasmotherium, Zygolophodon, American mastodon, Palaeoloxodon antiquus, and Palaeoloxodon namadicus -They also like to fight dinosaurs, such as Tarbosaurus (1 on 1), Spinosaurus (on land only), and packs of Dakotaraptor and Daspletosaurus -They can only be quickly killed by sauropods, but they do not fight sauropods, so it takes so much effort to kill them that the other animal wants to quit by the time it's done. This durability comes from mere determination to fight; they make honey badgers look like wusses in terms of willing to drag on a fight -They may be very hard to kill, but they are not invincible; some foes like Triceratops and Ankylosaurus are just too much time and effort vs Dunkleosteus terrestrialis (9 meter, 6 tons) In a nearly parallel universe to this one evolved an oddity; a terrestrial, quadruple placoderm with Deinonychus-level speed and agility, yet retaining its characteristic head armor and strong bite. It goes head to head with fearsome terrestrial opponents, such as lions and grizzly bears, and has never lost a fight. It's the debunking of the myth of the slow n' clunky Dunkleosteus. However, it has one downfall; its love for AVA. And neither online forums nor Animal Face Off are enough. It needs to be one of the combatants! Who will it fight? Will it lose? Will it win?

Isn't the AVA Mapusaurus unkillable? I don't think it's a very good animal for matchups.

Oh...shoot. Forgot.
I'll change unkillable to so hard the other animal almost wants to quit by the time it is dead

You might also want to include a reason on why they are so hard to kill and maybe a quantifier because otherwise, we cannot evaluate how much Dunk can do.

Added.
As for the Dunkleosteus, the combination of the armor and agility should provide good protection. So nobody gets an easy win here.

Wait, was this requested and approved or not?

You don't have to request fights between 2 of your own characters

That fact doesn't preclude something being a less-than-worthwhile matchup...
I'm not saying this is a bad one, but just for future reference.

Maybe you could add a disclaimer in the Fantasy Character thread

You don't have to request fights between 2 of your own characters That was actually supposed to be a one-off exception for Dunk vs Spino since I was in a good mood. Sorry if I didn't make that clear (although I think I did). Normally, such threads must be approved (see Quite Cute vs Vain Glorious). This is a thread I probably won't have approved - at least pre-rewrite.

Mapusaurus rips the fishy apart.

Mapusaurus rips the fishy apart. Certainly it's understandable to favor either here by a bit, but I doubt Mapu wins this with any ease. Dunk has armor (not good for Mapu's weapons), Deinonychus level agility, and a very strong bite. So I think this is about 50/50

Well that changes a lot. How can a fish breath out of water?

If I'm allowed to take an educated guess: Through its Deinonychus powers.
