Rock, I told you we are not supposed to take OPs from Carnivora. This even applies if you indirectly took a Carnivora OP from dinosauria. If you can't find anything, just stick with the short list of family, diet and size. That's a lot easier for you. crap , did not know dinosauria took it from carnivora , did not really read it over . No rock, that was from Wiki (what you took from my thread). I'll fix up your OP later on and can give you a tutorial for it if you don't understand the instructions in our OP making thread

Yeah, I also saw it was from the Wiki, but Wikipedia has its own issues.
Thanks for helping out, dinosauria.

Unless the OP specifies otherwise, yes.

Apologies that I'm late, just had quite a bit of stuff on my plate. I would back the dire wolf, as it is more robust, has a superior bite, and has better stamina. I could see it landing a few bites to the limbs to disable them Dire wolf 60/40

American Cheetah would win one on one.

American Cheetah would win one on one. What would be your reasoning? rock, I'd give the mountain lion more chance here. The American cheetah is more gracile and would not have as easy a time.

American Cheetah since it was much faster, likely more fighting experience one on one, more agile, and also it was bigger.

American Cheetah 1: since it was much faster, 2: likely more fighting experience one on one, 3: more agile, 4: and also it was bigger. 1: Well, speed isn't really going to help either animal in a head-on fight. However, dire wolves were fairly cursorial predators, chasing animals like bison and horse. The cheetah may be a BIT faster, but not by a lot 2: Fighting experience should be comparable here as well. I'd in fact argue that the dire wolf has more of it because we have a lot of evidence for serious intraspecific fights among them 3: Probably, yes 4: They weigh the same

Actually, the largest American Cheetah weighed over 260 pounds. Dire Wolf weighed 240 max.

I'm referring to average weights - at max I may lean towards the cheetah but on average I favor the DW
