The CGI scenes of Dino death match and ultimate dino survivor are top notch and the models look very accurate and naturalistic, the only problem I might have is that they don't seem to have abandoned the sensationalistic approach, in the preview of Dino death match they show two Jane sized "Nanotyrannus" easily killing a full grown Triceratops, based on what seems to be another of Bakker's wacky ideas.
This is the Dino Death Match's show description at natgeo:
I'll have to lower my expectations for this show.
The DD ceratopsian....10 tons? come on! and they aren't even locked in battle, they died alongside each other, it is not a battle like the Protoceratops and Velociraptor fossil.

Dino Death Match: Pretty CGI but biased and sensationalistic.
It's no surprise that Holtz' scenes were all removed from the show (check his twitter), only people in favor of the hypothesis were allowed, with a few exceptions though and that's because they didn't say one way or another.

Yes I've seen Holtz comments on fb but he wasn't complaining too much and it is possible the UK version to show Holtz scenes (the teaser pictured interviews with him).
I've not seen the doc yet though, tonight on Nat Geo France is aired T. rex autopsy and the biggest beasts ever (I think so, because the French title is different and misleading...).

Hopefully the UK version has them but I do wonder how much would that contrast with Larson and Bakker talking with so much conviction, Larson is even shown twice loudly saying "Nannotyrannus lancensis is real! Nannotyranus lancensis lives!"
I honestly used torrents, where I am right now there's no cable or satellite TV but I'll watch them "properly" when I get home next week.
I also watched the other show that aired yesterday in the US, Jurassic CSI... CGI is bad and there's some odd inclusions:
*They talked about dinosaurs resistance to injuries. *Poposaurus can hope like a kangaroo and is called a dinosaur multiple times. *Stevens and Parrish (1999) hypothesis about exclusively horizontal sauropod necks presented as new and sound in 2015. *New CT scans of Stan's braincase confirming things we already knew from Sue a decade ago presented as new evidence in 2015. *The color of Archeoptheryx and other dinosaur feathers.
It feels weird seeing Phil Manning acting as if many of those things were new but overall I feel it was ok.

Just seen T. rex autopsy and Top 10 beasts.
T. rex autopsy's reconstruction is fantastic and the investigation really interesting. Of course most of the stuff is known to us but nevertheless it is really cool to see the reconstuctions of all those organs. I only complain about the poor CGI models (but I guess all the budget went in the life size reconstruction) and seeing dromaeosaurs engaging a full grown T. rex... Somewhat sensationnalistic at the beginning but with this kind of semi-fictionnal shows this is expected and not really disturbing.
Top 10 beasts is really cool even though there's nothing really new if you're well informed on each creature. There are some outdated or somewhat incorrect datas, Spino is still depicted at 22 tonnes, Pliosaurus at 50 tonnes (probably derived from the initial estimates for MoA and P.X.)... a bit sad but no really big deal. Also they primarily focuse on body length rather than weight, hence some lighter animals are placed above heaviers ones. Cool show even though with 10 creatures to investigate each case is only about 8-10 minutes. The CGI models are good but in some case are stockshots from others dedicated docs. Despite some more or less minor flaws or approximations a good way to inform the more general audience.

*They talked about dinosaurs resistance to injuries. Did they shortly say something about it or did they use (questionable) reasoning/evidence like size or a postulated nervous system?

They talked about and showeed the bones of a Gorgosaurus with some very bad but healed injuries then they drew parallels to cocodrilians and their immune system. GreyMost of the comments on that article... ugh

I'm watching Dino Death Match right now and the funny thing is, they actually showed footage of Bakker guesstimating ~4-5t for the ceratopsian, only to proceed to give a weight figure of ~10t.

And even that seems too much, from the images of the complete fossil and what they say in the show that the skull is 70cm long then both dinosaurs are about ~5.3m long, the ceratopsian is probably not much more than 2 tonnes.
