Ummm.......here's my personal opinion.
I have it on my iPad, and while I haven't read the full book yet, there's obviously some stuff that's clearly wrong or outdated (e.g. Ceratosaurus being able to open its mouth like a snake or something along those lines). However, there are some things that I can't name issues with (e.g. much of what Bakker said about dinosaur speed).

A sixth mass extinction was proposed a few years back. No, not the shit we're doing to our planet right now, but one that occurred before the end Permian mass extinction (c. 262 mya; if true, this suggests that it should be the "Big Six" and that what we're going through may be the seventh mass extinction). gsabulletin.gsapubs.org/content/early/2015/04/15/B31216.1.abstract

Here's an interesting read. Fight or flight: Antipredator strategies of baleen whales (Ford & Reeves, 2008; click here). Some baleen whales choose to fight back against orcas with tough, callous skin encrusted with barnacles, pectoral fins, and tails. Others swim away. Also, it gives some interesting speed figures for whale species.

A new family of pycnodont fish, the Serrasalmimidae (" Serrasalmus mimics") from the Late Cretaceous and Paleogene. As the name suggests, they are interpreted as piranha analogues. www.nature.com/articles/s41598-017-06792-x
