Sorry, but I'm just not going to favor a much smaller juvenile crocodilian over a much larger, fully grown silverback male, Eastern or Western. But on the overall contest, we are in agreement.

Oh yes, we are in complete agreement as to adults. I just saw earlier comments suggesting tiny juveniles could kill full grown silverbacks, and I can't agree with that.

Was that one directed at me? I agree that a juvenile crocodile would lose to an eastern/western gorilla as it would be too small

I now think we're all in basically complete agreement.

Dinosauria should edit this to maybe a few gorilla species because 1 v 1 is a major mismatch in favor of the crocodile , even on land the crocodile would easily win in a 1 v 1 fight.

Yeah good point. I'll make a new thread featuring 2 eastern gorillas and a female Nile crocodile at some point

I think the crocodile’s durability and deadlier jaws will be too much for the gorilla to handle.

Unless it is the crocodile is on the far low end of its species' weight bell curve, the gorilla has virtually all factors stacked against it.
