I would favor Giganotosaurus if the claims of it being only slightly longer, but more gracile were correct, but they seem to be quite baseless. They are believed to reach about the same size, so I say 50/50.

This assumption is based, if I remember correctly, that Giganotosaurus has legs thicker, but agree that it is not necessarily true, for example Wankel-rex is not bulkier than Acrocanthosaurus, but his legs are thicker .

I know about the femur thing, but as you said, it is not very reliable.

I think this would be a 50/50, because they're about the same size. Even if Giganotosaurus is bigger, it's only by a slight margin.

Yeah, little is known. Going by all the combat-relevant features that are known, they are essentially the same animal.
