What are the worst clichés in your opinion? You know, which you see in movies, shows, and video games.
For me it is the misunderstanding cliché (especially when it comes to romance), Damsel in distress cliché, overprotective parent cliché, never believing when framed or accused cliché, and the never believing until it's too late cliché.

Painfully obvious female empowerment role. If your gonna do it, do the women of this world some justice and do it properly.

This is without a doubt one of the biggest clichés I cannot stand. This is an example of the misunderstanding cliché especially when it comes to romance, which I mentioned.
It's when two people are together as boyfriend and girlfriend/husband and wife and then one of them walks in and finds them in what at first glance appears to be a compromising position making it look like he/she is cheating on him/her with someone else. Then the boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife will go all "Hurr hurr hurr no honey it's not what you think!" But they won't listen, and then they later on find out they didn't cheat on them and get back together. This cliché has been done to death. I wish they would do it differently like having them believe what they say or just don't do it at all because we all know what's going to happen in the end.

Some aliens attack earth and the us-army is the only organisation who cares about them and saves the planet... Yeah those are pretty painful to watch. If the aliens had mastered space travel far enough to visit us, armed conflict would be hopeless. Just think what would happen if modern armies were to fight against the Romans.

^Exactly!
The only explanation for that would be that those aliens have spend extremely little of their time building weaponery, meaning they must have had little armed conflict between each other driving the developement of weapons; in this case, it makes no sense they would invade another world, and we can also presume them to be highly intelligent making us hopelessly inferior in any case.

Some aliens attack earth and the us-army is the only organisation who cares about them and saves the planet... Addition: Aliens, Zombies and other Monsters usually attack USA only.

Quite funny indeed. Perhaps they have themselves watched too many zombie or monster movies and now want revenge for being rubbished all the time...
Generally when you watch films you could get the impression that nearly everything that happens plays out only in the US.

I hate the cliche of people in horror movies being absolute idiots. In my opinion the movie would be much scarier of the people were competent and still couldn't escape. One of the best examples is the movie "Husk". The people act so stupid it's hilarious...

Maybe they have no wars on their planet, as they are intelligent enough to get total peace on their planet. An even worse cliché, aliens know English.

One other nice cliché: the USA is the only really developed country.

Even then, if they are super rational they would observe our behavior and would know that they would need weaponry and then build it, if it came to contact/conflict. We should not expect super intelligent civilizations to act stupidly. To expand on the bible: "those who do not live by the sword can still die by the sword." And super rational beings know that.

This is a another cliché I cannot stand.
The woman kicking the man out of the house cliché. Seriously it's always the woman. Why can't it ever be the other way around for once. It's been so overdone in every show or movie I've seen with it.

Because we live in a feminist society, wher women can do whatever they want to men and it is "funny", but when men do the same to women, it is offensive and abusive.
Take the show "The Talk" for example, five women were laughing at a man being castrated. Had the situation been reversed, those guys would have been fired on the spot.
And some people dare say that to this day, that men are oppressing women.
