Nah, that's not what I was looking for. That one's about dicynodonts, the "Tapinocephalus" in that publication refers to the "Tapinocephalus Assemblage Zone", not the animal itself.

You can find more illustrations of the girdles and limbs here, and some info on dinocephalian vertebral counts here..

That's weird, they work for me, well, the first one, Boonstra 1955 the limbs and girdles of south african deinocephalians, it's in the biodiversity heritage library.

Does anyone have access to : Persons WS IV, Currie PJ 2015 Bristles before down: a new perspective on the functional origin of feathers. Evolution 69(4): 857–62 ?
I can't find any sites where it isn't paywalled.

Does anyone know of legitimate, published figures for the top speeds of giraffes and black rhinoceri? I've read that the latter can gallop at a speed of up to ~50 km/h or so and that the former is no faster than the likes of the latter, but I'm skeptical of these claims. I mean, elephants are commonly stated by many (unscholarly) sources to be up to ~25mph, but it seems to me to be an exaggeration.

Ok, does anyone have any good lateral view diagrams or illustrations of the Yangchuanosaurus shangyouensis holotype? The papers I've got only illustrate the skull and a few vertebrae in sizeable diagrams. There's a diagram of the whole specimen in it but it's too small to actually use.
