I'll probably post snippets of my ideologies and my views on certain subjects as opposed to one big post.
One thing I believe in but am still sort of coming to terms with is full consistency in our perceptions and portrayals of gender. To put it another way, if a specific perception regarding one sex is not acceptable, it should not be acceptable for the other. If it is acceptable for one gender, it should be acceptable for the other. E.g. if you can't stand hearing a rape joke involving a woman, then I will hold you to flip when you hear one that involves a man. Similarly, if you think we should stop deriving humor out of jokes involving male rape, you are in no position to laugh at one involving a woman.
This is probably to the surprise of no one here.

I like to describe myself as a centrist. Admittedly, I always felt in school I was taught to lean towards the left (liberal). In middle school during social studies, we were only shown CNN, never Fox News. But I get that there’s controversy and I do live in a “blue” urban/suburban area, so…
