Re did the ball python cage today, since she's gone into shed i figured bark would be better substrate as it holds humidity very nicely. added another section of a tree trunk in as well to give it a more natural look as well as to add her in shedding on a side note, she has gotten absolutely massive in the last year i've had her -- had her on my shoulders today outside and she's gotten quite heavy

sorry for double posting, but my albino checkered garter just came put of hibernation and is already eating; i'm thrilled they're such fascinating animals to watch feed! had to share with you guys

Since it's nice and warm where i live i decided to let my garter climb the grapevine in my backyard, i think he liked it

i have always thought that garter snakes would be one of the more entertaining snake species to keep, being much more active foragers. although id probably go for a hog nose more than anything else.

They are, i've trained mine to hand feed now. I hear hognose are really cool to keep, if i had the room i'd probably get one

Two days ago, somehow, someway, my ball python got out of her cage and i couldn't find her any where. now, i wasn't too worried because there was no way for her to get out of my house. I just got off work and went into my pantry to get something from the top shelf, she was right behind it all curled up Now i have no idea how she even got up there, but to give you guys an idea of how high up she was The arrow is where she was when i found her. Mind you the doors are typically closed, so i'm not sure how she even got in there. no more house roaming for her, i've got a new lid with locks on it to make sure i don't have a heart attack again

One time I passed out while my Savannah monitor was roaming when I woke up he was under the stairs, I had to lure him out with ham.

I've got a 268 L tank of 6 clown loaches, a featherfin squeaker, a pictus catfish, and a weather loach (to be upgraded to 4000 L eventually)

Two bearded dragons for my kids. The lizards are less than a year old but growing like crazy MY wife's very allergic to mammals, so no dogs or cats, unfortunately. But Rosie and Mikey are great pets for the family.
