I looked it up and Komodos were once in Australia, huh.

I looked it up and Komodos were once in Australia, huh. Not only that, but evidence suggests it's where the species originated and later dispersed from.

Like how camels and horses started in North America, makes sense I suppose, especially since well, Megalania is also there, and it would follow that the two have a relatively recent common ancestor.
Also, I like how Mark Witton, in both of the pieces I have seen of the KPG event that he did, he deliberately scaled the event to look utterly massive compared to the dinosaur in the foreground.

Also, I like how Mark Witton, in both of the pieces I have seen of the KPG event that he did, he deliberately scaled the event to look utterly massive compared to the dinosaur in the foreground. Update: I removed my post because I learned that Witton's Patreon art isn't meant to be posted anywhere else. The stuff I posted was for an upcoming project and he posts full resolution versions of his art that he doesn't want to be exploited. He also doesn't want to get in trouble with clients who request Patreon exclusives but don't want it appearing anywhere else. Perhaps until he decides to post them publicly outside of his Patreon I won't post those images again. I'm just glad I dodged a bullet and deleted the post before someone actually came after me for it (But now that you’ve seen it, I agree with what you said about the last piece) To make up for it, I'm going to post pieces by Julio Lacerda. Purussaurus in a spat with a stork over a dead megalodon. Gryposuchus preying on a toxodontid. Mourasuchus basking while a river dolphin hunts.

That first one makes me feel like my understanding of the relevant sizes is off somehow.

This is worth a watch. My only complaint is that there are a couple of sizable gaps later on, but a lot of that could just be what the fossil record is. Oddly enough, this might be the only thing I can think of where the Paleozoic got the most love.

Anyone know who drew these pictures? I tried reverse searching but didn't find anything.

This is art (concept art?) for the upcoming Dinosaur Empire series ( link->), but I can't not post it. No one, and I mean NO ONE, has ever made Stegosaurus look this imposing.
