Well, it would still be a bit faster. However, I'd imagine as the water gives less and less area up and down, the crocs would have more advantage. If you have to take an animal out of its element (the open ocean) to make it a fair fight, then maybe the scenario isn't a good one. I wouldn't really call it out of its element. Would just give more mobility to the crocs, relatively speaking. And it would still be close.

If you wanted a good shark v crocodile fight in shallow water you probably should have gone with the tiger shark.
