The posterior maxillary teeth appear to be molars. I'm guessing this is a synapsid/mammal?

In a sense I suppose but while my general knowledge on the subject is adequate my focus is even a tad narrower than that as it's mostly the legged squamates that interest me and even then you can narrow it further to a scattering of genera

It does look like a pinniped skull, but it's a bit longer and narrower than most. So I'm gonna have to guess that it's a Leopard seal skull ( Hydrurga leptonyx ). Did I get that right?
