I have a feeling that some of us might be interested in archaeology, given that some of us also have some interest in history and definitely in paleontology. And as distinct as paleontology and archaeology are (something that many laymen are unaware of), both fields of science share some common methodologies, principles, and practices. Likewise, some overlap exists between the time periods paleontology and archaeology are interested in. Maybe archaeology is interesting enough for us to have a subboard dedicated to it, but unless/until such a thing is created, just post anything dedicated to archaeology in this thread. 800 year old falconer figurine found in Norway: www.sci-news.com/archaeology/falconer-figurine-10422.htmlPre-Viking settlement of the Faroe Islands: www.nature.com/articles/s43247-021-00318-0

Very comprehensive.
