I have been a fan of DBZ so logically I'd say Goku but I remember that TheROC had very strong arguments favoring the Man of Steel.

This one's a classic...
i'm leaning towards Supes - he seems stronger overall...except maybe Goku at SSJ4.

That was also some of the reasons by TheROC. I'm a DBZ fan but Superman totally takes this.

Comic Superman demolishes even peak SSJ3 Goku, and even SSJ3 Gogeta/Vegito would have slim chances against the more powerful versions of Superman.
Animated Superman, as well as Movie Superman, are both destroyed in a matter of seconds by any Goku beyond Saiyan saga.

Is that one of those made up fan fusions or something?

Being formally a really big fan of the dragonball series (i used to go by the username SaiyaMel or Saiya), i totally relate to what you are saying...though shoving that aside i was being hypothetical there. i've seen GT not even halfway through as i didn't care for it much at all....the first season of it is especially lame.

I didnt care for GT and its not even cannon, so we cant even use it unless stated otherwise. Anyway superman wins.

Dragonball GT is about as cannon as the DBZ movies and the filler in the DB and DBZ anime episodes...Akira Toriyama did have some very small amount of involvement in them though - including GT.
