Supercommunist By any chance, are you familiar with Han and Roman Empire weaponry, armor, and tactics? I'm considering making a thread pitting both armies in a battle. Only thing is I have an idea of what they used, but I don't know as much about them as I do about medieval or early-late modern soldiers.

For instance, modern tests of the pilum strongly contradict the idea that they were supposed to bend on impact, and logistically such a concept doesn't make sense given that iron was lot more expensive back then. One thing I do suspect is that the Han likely had a distinct advantage in the range department due to their really advanced crossbow trigger designs that helped enable them to make highly powerful weapons with relatively low draw weight,  |

Alright, that's a lot of matches. I wouldn't want there to be dozens of different threads at once, as in a small forum like this, most would get no answers. Thus, I'll stick to the ones I can evaluate. Megalodon (The Meg) vs Liopleurodon (WWD) was overwhelmingly favored over the WWD Liopleurodon whilst The Meg was overwhelmingly favored over K. imperator in turn. Might be a mismatch. Mosasaurus (JW) vs Liopleurodon (WWD) This might be a good match if we ignore the ridiculously large FK version of the mosasaur. The version from the original movie was closer to the WWD Lio's source, but I'm not sure. I'm leaning towards approval, but I'd like to hear Infinity's take on that as well. |

Disapproved. The first is interesting though. I've googled for some discussions of Kong vs Gorosaurus online and it might actually be close (see e.g. the last post here: comicvine.gamespot.com/forums/battles-7/kong-vs-gorosaurus-1864881/ ). That being said, Gorosaurus is apparently being overwhelmingly favored in most discussions I'm seen. I think I'll approve it under the condition that you can make a really good case for Kong, if necessary. |

Well, the 2017 Kong is actually bigger than the Kong that basically pounded gorosaurus to death, and there are different versions of gorosaurus, and I'm talking about this one youtu.be/PtylspG7PFIKong 2017 is 104 feet tall while King Kong Escapes Kong is like 20 meters or 66 feet tall |
