I overall agree with the analysis, but you could have commented on the hypothesis some people have that the bite marks of Tyrannosaurus on Triceratops horns are the result of the predator dragging the carcass by the horns.

The injuries of that Triceratops specimen showed signs of healing. It had to have been an interaction between two living animals, presumably a predation event (albeit a failed one on the Tyrannosaurus' part). From Tyrannosaurus rex: The Tyrant King. Interestingly enough this same excerpt compares this specimen to seven other broken Triceratops horn cores that show no signs of healing. I'm curious as to what broke those horns. Edit: also, let's not ignore the relatively high agility of the tyrannosaurid bauplan as an adaptation for dealing with similar sized well armed and/or armored prey items with active defenses. peerj.com/preprints/27021.pdf

T rex wins easily. It has the tools and the intimidation factor to do the job.

the t-rex would win easy . it took down animals much more powerful than a elephant like the triceratops and also had to fight other t-rex . he would destroy the elephant with one bite

^Not with 1 bite, but a few. Although, each would still be devastating.

Although, each would still be devastating. i was being sarcastic , but yes a few bites would dispatch the elephant , if the t-rex gets stabbed by the elephants tusks he could be in trouble , but seeing as how they hunted animals with larger tusks/horns like triceratops and the fact that t-rex is much larger that is unlikley to happen

^Could be even more unlikely than you mentioned. Many African elephants have relatively short tusks.
And not to be rude or anything, but would you, if possible, be able to do at least 75 percent of your posting here as opposed to Carnivora? I only say so because I noticed the Hippo fan posted some more today.

^That's just fine. And it isn't a one-way street by any means, Taipan also stalks WoA frequently.
