( link). ...when it should have said that they were bigger than the (ancestral) tyrannosaurid that was alive at the time instead of Tyrannosaurus rex herself. |

Great white shark estimated at over 17 feet long compared to humpback (I think) whale carcass. this is a pretty good image to show how great whites tend to bulk up substantially when they reach above average adult length.   |
