^Is that Triceratops or the related species (can't recall the name, that is slightly larger)? Are you referring to Torosaurus or Eotriceratops when you say 'related species'? Toro is the same size as Trike, but Eotrike is much, MUCH bigger (12 meters and 30 tons by scaling up from Triceratops) Since when is Eotriceratops 12m and 30t?

Scaling up from Triceratops done by brolyeuphyfusion on the old Carnivora's Eotriceratops vs T rex thread

This was based on a footprint, wasn't it? Sounds like too weak evidence to state it in such a matter-of-factly way.

No, that was Ceratopsipes. Eotriceratops has a skull that fits the size of 12 meter Triceratops. Unfortunately, since we are both banned from the archives, there's no verifying broly's post, but 12 meters is quite common Eotrike size estimate

Do you have a reliable source for such estimates? A 30t ceratopsian is a very bold claim.

spartan It's just scaling up to match skull proportions. I'm not sure what you mean by 'reliable source'.

Mapusaurus vs Spinosaurus (I could put it in the thread)

spartan It's just scaling up to match skull proportions. I'm not sure what you mean by 'reliable source'. But which specimen? Because the holotype with the 3m skull has been estimated at 8.5-9m and 10t.

Because the holotype with the 3m skull has been estimated at 8.5-9m and 10t. The skull you mentioned. The largest Triceratops, the 9-10 meter, 12 ton specimen, has a 2.5 meter skull. Going by that, the 12 meter Eotriceratops sounds rather plausible

Palaeoloxodon namadicus vs 3 Mapusaurus NOTE: The elephant is maximum sized while the carnosaurs are only average. This is because I could not accurately scale them to the dimensions of MCF-PVPH-108.145, the 13.6 meter, 8.5 ton specimen
