Everybody gets influenced by Hartman's work by now. It's like with Greg Paul 10 or 20 years ago.

You are sure you did not simply plagiarize someone elses work?
The pic you posted has eery similarity and your origial does not look ike pencil work.

Sorry BI, but I donÂ’t believe you that thatÂ’s a pencil drawing.
If you overlay it on the original, you see there is not the slightest difference (not just as in a really good, hand-drawn replicate, but simply as in a digital copy) in the shapes, and I was able to replicate the picture in GIMP almost exactly within 10 seconds:
convert to greyscale?open "contrast&brightness"?move the sliders until you get the desired result?click OK
