I do think its pretty messed up to post in a thread about annoying stereotypes that "Asians are annoying"! There is a lot of great things we can attribute to the Asians, I really like them. The stereotypes are annyoing, not the Asians.

This is just from wikipedia France has participated in 168 major European battles, out of which it won 109, drawn 10 and lost 49, making the country the most successful military power in European history. Impressive!

I remember Grey has debated with someone under my Livyatan vs Megalodon video and after some time the someone said "hahahaha, I don't need to battle you because you're French!".

No problem. By the way, the reason why I said the stereotypes are annoying is because I hear them quite often at school. I have a South Korean girl in my class and when she said that some relative of her (I don't exactly remember this) was extremely good at school, some guys said "typically Asian".
P.S. I like them as well.

I hate the stereotype that mice are obsessed with cheese. They really love poison!
I hate that people think all Americans are fat and lazy.

I hate that people think all Americans are fat and lazy. Of course they are. Fat and lazy enough to win more olympic medals than any other country at the 2012 summer olympics.

Mapping stereotypes: Carnivora/WoA edition
Fellow carnivora/WoA user, what do you connect with the following countries?
Russia: Huge, Siberian tigers and brown bears, cold, rich Permian fauna
India: Bengal tigers, gaurs, overpopulated, rain forest, dinosaur hoaxes (Bruhathkayosaurus)
China: Also overpopulated, people who don't care about nature, feathered dinosaurs, generally many dinosaurs and museums (mostly from the Jurassic and Early Cretaceous), pandas, some small populations of large carnivores
Japan: Overfishing, many endemic species, a lot of research
Gobi: Desert and dinosaurs (Velociraptor, Protoceratops)
Indonesia: Komodo dragons, many islands, also a lot of rainforest
Brazil: Amazonas, anacondas, jaguars
Argentina: Huge sauropods, Giganotosaurus, South Americas fossil treasure
Egypt: Desert, huge theropods
South Arica: Many fossils from the Permian and Early Jurassic, Kruger national park, lions and herds of huge herbivores, megafauna
Rest of Africa: Wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes traveling! Traveling animals everywhere!!!
Australia: Great barrier reef, great white sharks and saltwater crocodiles, kangaroos, venomous animals, taipan, some dinosaurs
UK: That's where some members are from, not so many impressive animals (but foxes), pliosaurs, BBC documentaries, many scientists
Germany: Dog breeds, Brachiosaurus skeleton, Triassic, Das Monster von Minden
France: Europe's dinosaur treasure, also many scientists
Italy: Andrea Cau, Spinosaurus fossils are housed there
Norway: Svalbard islands, cold but beautiful, polar bears, overfishing
Canada: Beautiful wildlife, wolves, bisons, cold, some members here are from there
USA: That's where most of our members live, the research hub, Yellowstone, Everglades, most journals are there, many iconic dinosaurs, all the important museums/zoos are there, Discovery, Animal Planet and National Geographic, EVIL movies (Jaws and Jurassic Park), creationists, way too much to mention
I was bored, some things were exaggerated, don't take this seriously!
I know that I forgot a lot, feel free to add something! But please something you hear like all the time in discussion (maybe not all the time, but often)! This of course doesn't reflect the worldview of our users, just read it with humor!

Saudi Arabia: big oil, very fundamentalist, women highly oppressed, terrorists, camels, big deserts with sand duns, very hot weather, snake charmers, scorpions, Aladdin...
Spain: bulls, bullfights and many other forms of animal brutality, siestas, fiestas, flamenco, warm/hot weather with lots of sunshine and beaches, hot spicy food (actually more attributed to Mexican cuisine), machismo men....
Germany: disgusting kinky porn, Oktoberfest, beer, very industrial and no since of humor.
The stereotype about that French stereotype that Venomousdragon brought up,,, quite the opposite...well at least the French from Quebec. they strike me as more aggressive (confrontational) than the majority of other Canadians and sort of have a reputation here of being arrogant - for example they will often raise a stink if our anthem "Oh Canada" is sung only in English at big events - even ones taking place in other provinces. and remember all the students rioting in the streets Montreal because of an increase in student fees - which are still the lowest in the country.. having said that i know and have met some awesome French Canadians and people from France.
this one is quite ridiculous regarding Canadians - that we live in igloos or log cabins, we all love maple syrup, all bilingual in English and French and our main means of transportation is dog sled or snowmobile...

Another annoying stereotype: Whites (especially Americans) are extremely racist. Really, when someone asks you for the most racist country on earth, people will always say America. listdose.com/top-10-most-racist-countries-in-the-world-2/So, out of roughly 200 existing countries, one which is very multi-cultural, keeps its borders open and even has a colored leader is the most racist? I know that there is a lot of discrimination there, but thats the case in almost any significant migrant country (use google if you don't believe me). People who think it is the most racist country only know very superficially about the massive amounts of discrimination all over the world.

Ignore Mordecai on this thread. He was my old account, and I don't even think that it was me posting at the time that the first few posts were made (same goes for the other forum). I'm actually Irish and not English.
About this thread, I personally don't get too worked up about stereotypes of my own culture. It's really a broad subject, though and that is mostly because there are many different groups that are targeted for it (wherever it be gender, sexuality, race, etc.).
