There have been millions, if not billions of grey wolves that have walked the earth in the past 500,000 years or so. We have only weighed a few select hundred of them, maybe one thousand. Given that a 190 lb wolf has been confirmed before, it's highly probably that at least one freak occurrence of a wolf might have reached 200+ lbs.
