the bear stomps here , hyenadon was only the size of a lion. and a kodiak or grizzly is alot bigger than a lion

^Less than that even, it's 100-150 kg, about the size of a LIONESS!
They have been known to congregate though, so I may make a matchup between 2 Hyaenodon and a grizzly.

Yeah, it's likely not a mismatch. Although the carnivorans did beat the creodonts for a reason. American black bear vs H.gigas could be interesting also

Yeah, that one would be very close with a 125 kg Hyaenodon and 134 kg bear. I may make it soon.
