David from ProBoards Support here, on behalf of the admin. I understand some are experiencing issues logging in, so I wanted to reach out to anyone still having problems to see if we can't get them solved.

Who is still having issues? Please be as specific as you can be.

Hello,

I can only post on the board with this account from my mobile connexion.

But from my computer, no way even after having changed my password.

So I've made a new account as "Clegane" but it has not been confirmed yet, I don't don't if it was even registered.

What can be done ?

Malikc has appearantly applied with a new account but he hasn't been accepted yet and it's been over a week.

NOTE: (For all members)

I am aware that some members are experiencing login issues, I have notifications from them. My advice to these members is that do not register new accounts again and again, I will not accept them but I will not remove them from notifications unless issues are fully resolved. Accepting new account of an existing member leaves me in the dilemma of eliminating the older account of the same member.

For any existing member; if their is no other way to resolve his access problems to this forum, only then I would consider accepting new account of that member but older account would be disbanded.

Therefore, those members who are experiencing problems, should exercise patience. You all are IMPORTANT to me so not worries. I am taking this matter very seriously.

Those members who are experiencing login issues and cannot directly contact me, send me an email and describe the whole problem.

Meanwhile, correct login approach is this:-

1. Enter username (e.g. bear)
2. Enter password (e.g. monkey)
3. If you have changed the password, make sure that you have confirmed the new password in your email address (if requested to) and entering it properly in the login system.

If this process is not working, I will get your password replaced.

" when proboards finally became accessable, I found out that my login would no longer work and unable to sign in with my usual username and passward.

Official response from ProBoards support staff about this matter:

Unless they have previously logged into the account, it will be their username they need to enter and not their email account. Is there any other issues relating to logging in? That seemed to be the main one in that topic you linked to. (Courtesy of member Craig in ProBoards official support forum)

I can log in but I have to go through the verification process every time despite the fact the exact same password has been saved on my iPad
It's a shame I can't tick the keep me logged in feature whilst being redirected

Hi Grey - you shouldn't have had to create a new account, especially if you're already logged in on your mobile device. Can you tell me more specifically where you're running into issues? Have you forgotten your password? What exactly happens when you go through the process of changing the password?

Hi Apex - what verification process are you speaking of? Additionally, when logging in, you can find the "Remember Me" box directly underneath the input field for your username/e-mail address.

When I type in my password it says wrong password so I have to get the email and get redirected back to the forum every time so can't access the remember me function

I've realized that I'm logged on mobile only afterward. But my mobile is really not practical...

I've not forgotten my password, but even changing it, I cannot log myself. There is a screen which indicates I'm logged as Grey but registered on Proboard only, not on the forum that I only can see as "guest". So in case I've made another account "Clegane" pending approval.

If I logout myself on my mobile I cannot post anymore on the forum.
