The Gorgosaurus pack wins this battle for certain, as their combined weight actually surpasses that of Tyrannosaurus.

Agree with you. However, the gogosaurus pack might lose at least one member and this will make them vulnerable to a neighbouring pack.

I think I would probably lean towards in the 3 Gorgosaurus overall due to numbers and outweighing the Tyrannosaurus. Having said that, I would favor Scotty or Sue just slightly (like 55/45) over 3 max sized Gorgosaurs - not as much of a size disparity and they can kill each quickly.
