Notwithstanding Internet claims of Cynognathus being a 1 meter long animal with a head constituting 30% of its total body length (ie. a 30 centimeter long skull), it definitely did not fit the aforementioned description. In actuality, the skull was virtually ~40cm in length and the vertebral column up to the first sacral vertebra was approximately ~95cm in length.
