Of these: 23% of them chose that these countries are controlled by leaders with absolute power, 12% chose that these countries discourage democracy, and another 10% chose that these countries are military dictatorships:

Obviously a number of them simply guessed, similar to the people who randomly pointed at a world map to show where Ukraine is: Africa, South America, and even right inside the US!

I'm somewhat* proud to say that I wasn't this retarded back in 8th grade...or ever for that matter.

*Because there isn't exactly anything impressive about acknowledging the fact that Canada, France, and Australia don't have dictatorships.
