Some of you will probably be aware of this video that's been stirring up a bit of controversey lately:
What do you all think of the video and the points the Father is making? Me personally, I think it was a very irresponsible thing to do, I would never let my infant roll around in such close proximity to any pet, be it a Shih-tzu or a Burmese python, the risk of irreperable damage is too great.
I also think the point he's making about dog attacks in comparison to snake attacks is a pretty silly argument because (A). dogs are far, far more commonplace than large constrictors and (B). just because one animal has a higher percentage of attacks than your chosen pet it does not decrease the potential danger of your pet.

His point holds merit in at least one sense, what right to people have to be calling him particularly irresponsible when no one remotely Cares when people do the same thing he's doing now but with a dog instead? Especially when you consider the fact that dogs kill many times more people a year than pet snakes ever have even when you include venomous snakes. Dogs arnt so much more commonplace that you can ignore that massive difference in fatalities.

This isn't as nearly a big of a deal as the media made it to be. There's a somewhat similar video of two young girls swimming with a large burmese python, and while i don't think i would exactly do something like this, it's not something terrible honestly.

I'm no snake expert but it looks quite dangerous. I wouldn't be surprised if it would see such a small child as prey, and I wouldn't do it with a dog either.
