How does everyone wear their whiskers?
Me personally I have pretty thick, dark facial hair that grows in quick, but for the majority of my adult life I've always been clean shaven, shaving in the morning every two days. Reason for this is because my family comes from a military background and my grandfather and father were always clean cut and sort of instilled that into me (though my Dad rocked a pretty sweet mustache for a while in the 80's). For the past few months though I've been wearing some designer stubble, slightly longer than your average five o'clock shadow, I like it. I had toyed with growing a beard, but my new job involves a lot of interaction with potential investors and new customers and I while I would suit it I'm put off by the sort of scraggly, in between phase before it comes in fully, not very professional.
But yeah, other members, how do you handle your facial follicles, what's your style/preference? Any female/gay members, what do you look for in the fuzz department?
Post pics if you like.

I too have toyed with growing a beard. Main thing stopping me is the fact that one side of face grows hair a fair bit faster and I always just end up shaving it all off opposed to managing one side to even things up.

I kind of get what you mean.
My left cheek tends to grow in quicker than my right cheek, which has a few patches even after a few weeks of growth. I have a few close friends who are bearded and they've told me that it's natural, that if you give it a solid 6-13 weeks the patches will either grow in, or the rest will be looking so full it will take focus away from any patchiness/sparseness, so maybe just give it a bit of time?

I'm sure it would grow in with time I just never manage to put up with lop sidedness long enough.

I've never been a fan of goatees and balbo beards, they just look a bit incomplete. Mustaches can be rocked quite well by some, but overall I much prefer letting all the hair grow at the same time.
No offence to anyone who sports one.

I feel like I'm a bit too young to have a lot of facial hair, so I'm probably a bit like Ausar, though I could shave a bit more regularly...
