What are some notably large land based predators that weren't dinosaurs?

Do crocodiles count? Other than them, a lot of the megafauna, Dimetrodon, Amphicyon, possibly also some gorgonopsids.

I think blaze said a couple of times that the largest specimens of Arctodus and Arctotherium amassed at ~1 tonne.
We also have things like Daeodon and Andrewsarchus. I also wonder how the largest "rauisuchians" and Barinasuchus would compare.

Erythrosuchus and Karamuru deserve more recognition at 5 and 7 metres respectively

2 Giant synaspids that are pretty obscure Tappenosaurus At 5 and a half metres long its like dimetrodon but bigger and Steppesaurus fragmentary remains but must have been huge Thats the fragment of its jaw compared to the skull of a 3m long sphenacodon

There is a 1.6 ton specimen of Prestosuchus. Taking into consideration the downsizing of almost all the others, it could very well have been the biggest
