Snow Leopard The snow leopard's fur is whitish to gray with black spots on head and neck, but larger rosettes on the back, flanks and bushy tail. The belly is whitish. The fur is thick with hairs between 5 and 12 cm (2.0 and 4.7 in) long. Its body is stocky, short-legged and slightly smaller than the other cats of the genus Panthera, reaching a shoulder height of 56 cm (22 in), and ranging in head to body size from 75 to 150 cm (30 to 59 in). Its tail is 80 to 105 cm (31 to 41 in) long. Its eyes are pale green or grey in color. Its muzzzle is short and its forehead domed. Its nasal cavities are large.[21][22] It weighs between 22 and 55 kg (49 and 121 lb), with an occasional large male reaching 75 kg (165 lb) and small female of under 25 kg (55 lb). Takin: In height, takin stand 97 to 140 cm (38 to 55 in) at the shoulder, but measure a relatively short 160–220 cm (63–87 in) in head-and-body length, with the tail adding only an additional 12 to 21.6 cm (4.7 to 8.5 in). Measurements of weights vary, but according to most reports, the males are slightly larger, weighing 300–350 kg (660–770 lb) against 250–300 kg (550–660 lb) in females.Sources including Betham (1908) report that females are larger, with the largest captive takin known to the author, at 322 kg (710 lb), having been female. Takin can weigh up to 400 kg (880 lb) or 600 kg (1,300 lb) in some cases.

So, it is said that the snow leopard is a natural predator of the takin. That being said, I wonder which one would win if a male takin was caught being alone by a snow leopard.

In my opinion, the takin might have the advantage. Takin: The takin has a huge size advantage, it is bulkier (and most likely more robust and stronger.) and has horns (although their horns are pretty small.). They are also most likely more agile than the animal that they are compared to the most (which is the muk ox). While they are said to be hunted by snow leopards the ones that get targeted are probably sub adults.
Snow leopard: They are more agile, has better weaponry (since the horns of the takin are pretty small and don’t give much head protection.), and are said to be natural predators of takins.
So 6/10 takin maybe.
