An 8 ton Giganotosaurus runs the gauntlet. How far do they get? Round 1: 8 Smilodon fatalis, 220 kg each Round 2: 1 woolly mammoth, 5 tons Round 3: 1 American mastodon, 7 tons Round 4: 8 Utahraptors, 600 kg each Round 5: 1 T rex, 8 tons Round 6: 1 Triceratops, 12 tons

Round 5 is very close, it might stop there. If it doesn't, it definitely stops at round 6, especially in light of recent evidence on theropod agility which shows carnosaurs were ill equipped to take on ceratopsians.

I definitely agree with you there. Round 5 is 50/50 IMO and Giganotosaurus could very well stop at it. Round 4 is also close IMO, maybe a 55/45 win for Giganotosaurus. And yeah, at Round 6, Triceratops stops Giganotosaurus in its tracks.
