I'd favor Toxodon here. It seems to be much more robust as well as larger, and could likely crush or overpower its opponent here

Mismatch in favour of the toxodon mate. Its heavier built will enable to the crush the more lightly built macrauhenia. Toxodon's can charge like rhinos and at the same time swim like hippos.

Toxodon takes it but Macrauchenia won’t go down easily.

Toxodon takes it but Macrauchenia won’t go down easily. How can Machrauchenia efficiently retaliate? Kicks don't seem like they'd work too well

With extra maneuverability? Yeah, this wasn't as close as I thought although it's not quite a chicken vs Apatosaurus scenario.

I doubt extra manuverability will work as the macrauchenia has stiff legs despite being able to run fast. Horses are more manuverable than a sumatran rhino yet the latter will win.

As elosha11 wisely said, look from the winner's point of view. Sure they may win, but what's afterwards? Injuries? Disablement? Death? oldgreengrolar have you tried talking a look from Toxodon's perspective?
