I just looked at how these guys were killed to refresh my memory. It took Super Saiyan Goku to beat Cooler. While these movies aren't canon, The Tree of Might would chronologically take place before Goku fought Frieza (but apparently after Goku arrived on Namek...yeah, it's easy to see why this is non-canon; source). Thus, when Goku killed Turles, he not only wasn't in Super Saiyan form, but he wouldn't even have achieved this form yet, leaving absolutely no shadow of a doubt that Cooler requires a far more formidable opponent to be taken down. I'm pretty sure Cooler wins easily. |
