vs NOTE: Consider this one in/near shallow water to make it as fair as possible

Which Satan? Satan from the Bible? In this case, I'm not sure. Predator X can't do much, as Satan is some sort of spiritual angel thing which probably can't be hurt by a mere mortal. On the other hand, what can Satan really do? Sure, he could let some misfortune befall the Predator X (like a cardiac arrest), but the only times Satan has ever killed someone in the Bible was when he had God's permission. Probably a stalemate.

^I did not know there was more than 1 Satan! In any case, I do think you may have a point there, creature. This is probably an uneasy stalemate, with an edge to either

^I did not know there was more than 1 Satan! Well, Satan is pretty much a public domain character, so everyone can incorporate Satan in their work. I was asking because the Biblical Satan is very different from pop culture Satan, since surprisingly little is known about the former.

I would guess it's pop culture Satan then. Bibical Satan is, as you said, very poorly known

The Book of Job, right?

@dinosauria Nah, let's stick with the Biblical Satan. The pop culture Satan is too inconsistent due to being a mishmash of what various people think.
Plus, Biblical Satan has more feats than I remembered. I think we can assume that the reason why Satan only tempts people and nothing more is because God is holding him back and when God does not hold him back, he is as strong as described in the book of Revelation. This feat is from Revelation 12:3-4:OK, the stars falling on Earth rests on a rather inaccurate notion of how big stars are relative to the Earth, so this is less impressive than it sounds. Job 1:9-16OK, it's a bit ambiguous if God or Satan let the fire rain or summoned the storm. Though, since God is the more reliable narrator, it was likely Satan.
So, with that said, Satan stomps. His set of elemental powers (pyrokinesis, weather manipulation and whatever he did to the stars) are easily enough to kill Predator X.

Yep, you're spot on there. I think I'm actually going to give Predator X a pity vote.

By the way, as this section is inherently less limited than the zoology section, I think we should stick to matchups with some sort of common theme.
I'm going to make an Evil Black Death vs Satan thread, as the connections between them are perfect.

@creature
Okay, so the Biblical Satan's powers are basically summoning elemental forces? As per what was said in the 'one-up' thread, this isn't a guy who could stand up to someone who could destroy an entire solar system, is it? I was just wondering.

creature386 that sounds pretty interesting actually! I'd also make some threads with Evil Black Death
By the way, Infinity Blade and creature386, thank you both so much for posting here the majority as opposed to Carnivora! Please keep it up!

I think this depends on the sort of philosophy you have with regards to feats. The main problem is that many verses have blatantly inaccurate physics which is why I do "realism equalization". Predator X comes from a realistic universe (the real one), so I neglected the "third of the stars" feat, as it just doesn't work in our universe the way described (plus, I lowballed Satan as much as anyhow possible out of mercy towards Predator X). However, since comic books have very unrealistic physics, too, maybe it is fair to count the "third of the stars" feat. It's probably up to you.
