I don't really think political cartoons count as memes. They can theoretically convey them, but this one just makes a statement with a rather novel, unusual, and yet somehow interesting, visualization.

I noticed that too. And it was drawn all the way back in 1887 (when people have long been able to draw reasonably realistic drawings). It's completely beyond me.
