t-rex was a frugivore/herbivore debunked

i have heard a few people saying t-rex was a vegetarian or a herbivore , the main basis for this is that t-rex did not have its sharp teeth for eating meat but for eating vegetation , i am going to debunk this .

for one the argument is , t-rex has sharp teeth for eating vegetation and not meat , well im going to debunk this , i will show you a few teeth from a few animals , one is a frugivore , one is a herbivore , one is a carnivore and one is a omnivore , ready?

now lets take a look at the t-rex teeth

as you can see t-rex fits in perfectly with another carnivores teeth like the crocodiles than with herbivores or omnivores or frugivores , also frugivores or herbivores typically grind in the back , t-rex cannot grind as it has all sharp teeth .


second of all lets look at eyes , now as you know , herbivores and frugivores typically have eyes in the back of their head , while carnivores have eyes in the front of their head , lets take a few pictures of a few eyes from diffrent animals.

now lets look at the t-rex eyes 



as you can see t-rex would have had its eyes in the front of its head much like other meat eaters like chimps , humans and cats , also according to some sources t-rex had vison that was better than a hawk , thus making it easier to scout out prey

their would be no other reason for t-rex to have such good eyesite if it was not a carnivore , modern animals with good eyesite include , eagles [carnivores] , hawks [carnivores] , mantis shrimp [carnivores] , Tarsier [carnivores] , loris [omnivores] , Chameleons [carnivores] , giant squid [carnivores] , deep sea fish [carnivores] , four eye fish [carnivores] , praying mantis [carnivores] , humans [omnivores] . what this means is that animals with good eye site always are either carnivores or omnivores . finally on to intellegence , t-rex was shown to be very intellegent

t-rex was as smart as a chimpanzee , now lets see some animals that are very smart today , these animals include but are not limited to , chimpanzees [omnivores] , pigs [omnivores] , humans [omnivores] , dolphins [carnivores] , parrots [omnivores] , octopus [carnivores] , rats [omnivores] , orangutans [omnivores] crows/ravens [omnivores] , , domestic dogs [very close to being carnivores , but omnivores]  , elephants [herbivores] , horses [herbivores] , again mostly animals that show the highest level of intellegence almost always 90% of the time are carnivores or omnivores , so with this being said was t-rex a herbivore or frugivore or anything of the sort? , no and its very unlikley they were seeing how t-rex shares everything in comman with modern day carnivores like hawks , eagles and cats and nothing in comman with modern day herbivores or frugivores like fruit bats and domestic horses .

Alright, while the idea that T. rex had a herbivorous diet is obviously retarded, I have to make a few corrections and caveats in your post above.

1.) Your photo meant to demonstrate T. rex teeth shows Torvosaurus.

2.) That T. rex was as smart as a chimp is a highly extraordinary claim that, alas, is not supported by extraordinary evidence. It's not that there's any good reason to think that T. rex (and other non-avian dinosaurs, for that matter) was particularly stupid for an animal. There really isn't (-->). The thing is, both "dinosorez wurr dum dum" and "t-ReX wAs As SmArT aS a ChImP" are both based off of comparing their EQ (encephalization quotient) to those of other animals, including other animals whose EQs are measured completely differently (i.e. mammals and modern birds have their EQs measured completely differently from non-avian reptiles, rendering any direct comparison between these two groups just about useless). So for the same reason that dinosaurs supposedly being particularly stupid for animals has no real grounds, the whole basis for T. rex having chimpanzee-level intelligence is...flawed, to say the least.
