I would generally go with centipede I don't know about emperor scorpion but most scorpions simply are not fast enough to compete against giant tropical centipede. And I think that both opponents have what it takes to break the others armor.

I'm not talking from personal experience. But I saw a show presenting a fight between a scorpion and the centipede. Centipede won that fight. They suggested that scorpion was not fast enough. Now of course this could be not so. However the actual fight seemed to support this. Giant Tropical Centipede attacked very quickly and killed the scorpion before scorpion was able to react. I think it was a fattail scorpion but I could be wrong it was about a year ago.
