To include a bit more non-vertebrate stuff to the forum. Tunicates (in this case pyrosomes and salps) form giant under water colonies, which look a bit like some kind of alien tentacle.
Tunicates (which are btw near relatives of vertrebrates) are in my opinion very fascinating animals. Maybe I will post something more about them in the near future.
