Yeah, creepy little crawlies are better than nightmares in terms of inspiration for horror movies. There's a good reason they took parasitic wasps as the inspiration for chest bursters. Now imagine something similar for the bobbit worm…

This thing has spines that can cause permanent nerve damage and numbness, not to mention lots of burning and pain. creature386I think there's already a horror movie inspired by the bobbit worm. That's funny. It came up when I searched for sandworm inspired horror movies.
Could be the same case as when I thought I posted an Allosaurus fragilis vs Megalosaurus size chart but it was something else altogether
