I have found this to be an exceptional showing of endurance,strength & durability:

"A subadult hamadryas male living at White Rock lacked one forearm. This may also have been the mark of a meeting with a leopard. Not only had the male survived the bleeding, he was even able to climb vertical rock walls one handed. Using his single arm, he pulled himself up with such momentum that his hand could release the rock briefly and take hold again higher up."

"A jaguar's strength is astonishing. In proportion to their size, it can carry and pull very big animals. Their stockier build makes them less graceful than leopards, but their strength makes them just as fearsome to their prey."
