I say 30 unarmed people is too much , I think possibly 10 unarmed people could beat the tiger if they are strong enough

I also favor the unarmed people. In the beginning, they might be scared, but as the tiger kills them one after the other, they'll increasingly become desperate. It's even possible that the tiger exhausts itself after killing the first twenty or so and becomes an easier target.

Seems I forgot to reply to this.
I agree with both of you, all those people should eventually win. But the tiger does have a chance; a LOT of us are absolute wusses and I think a sizable minority (35 or so times put of 100) of times would go to the tiger if it killed all the wusses before the braver people took serious action.
