gonna have to go with the dogs here , they should have a bite force advantage (Combined together) and should have more stamina , i give this to them 4/10 , however in nature they would likley eat a carrion or hunt something much smaller like antelope , that would exert less power from them.

I'd go with the AWDs on land too due to their numbers. Would be hard for the hippo to keep up.
But you do have a point - this is pretty unlikely in real life
