The bus can win but the front screen makes up a good part of the bus' front section - deadly for the driver.

^Yes, you do have a point. That screen is hazardous and if it breaks, that's pretty much game over.
Having said that, I'd favor the bus too. It looks to me like it's more maneuverable and can probably slam into the mammoth and injure it badly.
