The muskox wins, being far heavier and having horns to be able to fight back with.

I deffo agree with you on that - the size advantage is definitely enough for the ox here.
However, you do see many people underrating them due to 1 account of the muskox being killed by the lone wolf.

Musk oxen will win in a head on fight. Exceptionally large male black bears have the best chance to win.
