Giving it to the python. Even though python is smaller, it has a huge reach advantage, so it gets first strike and once it wraps up the komodo, its over. Even if the komodo bites the python, the komodo's venom wouldn't work on the python's circulatory system and the python can still win by wrapping up the komodo.

The reticulated python wins, it's got the length and constriction to get past the Komodo dragon's venom and jaws, snakes in general can kill things several times their weight anyway.

Yeah, I'd lean towards the python as well - good at constricting and quite fast at it. The Komodo could win if it got enough bites, but more often than not I see it getting overpowered and constricted.
