I have noticed numerous broken images in WoA because they were uploaded on platforms which are either unstable or no longer functioning. I have also noticed the 'phenomenon of ghost images' in some posts such as in this thread: theworldofanimals.proboards.com/thread/3132/lions-predation-capacity

Phenomenon of ghost images = not visible

On the basis of my personal experience with 'uploading and sharing images' in several forums, my suggestion is to create an account in imgbb and use this platform for the needful.

It's been happening for me quite a lot. And yes, a bunch of other stuff is broken too.
