I've read that there is no grass on this landmass. Just curious, are there just no angiosperms on Matoria? Is the flora a pre-early Cretaceous one? Yes, there are flowers.

I have a question for anyone who can answer.
Did tyrannosaurs like Daspletosaurus have feathers or not?

You might be interested in our discussion in the thread about dinosaur feathers: theworldofanimals.proboards.com/post/30065/threadIn short, tyrannosaurids lacked fathers around the tail and belly, but it's likely that they still retained some feathers from their ancestors (like Yutyrannus).

In addition to what creature said, there have been undescribed (undescribed, meaning unverifiable until re-examination) Tyrannosaurus feathers found. I think some smaller tyrannosaurs may have had feathers, but the larger ones probably few or none due to thermal issues.

So we got 4 theropods left for any suggestions.
Mapusaurus (guessing that's dinosauria101's favorite dinosaur)
Siats
Deltadromeus
Aerosteon
What are some important things to know about these carnivores?

Not really on a personal level, but it is one of my favorites for AVA!
Mapusaurus: One of the biggest theropods and it may be a pack hunter Siats: Large relative of Tyrannosaurus Deltadromeus: Throwback from the Jurassic; relatively primitive Aerosteon: Tyrannosauroid of the southern continents

Siats- Descendent lives in the swamps, is smaller due to being on a smaller landmass, shorter legs for better swimming across deep water, males have a feathery crown on their heads to get the ladies.
Mapusaurus- Longer arms for better grasping when tackling sauropods, more conical like teeth designed to crush bone, a shorter, stronger skull to deal with the forces of a more powerful bite
Deltadromeus- Lives in the jungles and swamps, small, but very fast, like the cheetah of it's habitats
Aerosteon- Like the cheetah of the prairies, quick enough to catch the fastest prey, very small arms like Carnotaurus, being a tyrannosauroid, has a feather covering, but a bite that literally takes chunks out of it's prey alive, hunts in packs.
dinosauria101 what do you think?
